Fertility, pregnancy and lactation

I accompany and support you during three of the most transformative and significant stages in a woman's life: preconception and fertility, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Each of these phases has unique nutritional and emotional needs, and my goal is to help you navigate through them feeling strong, nourished, informed, and at peace with your body and your decisions. If you have hormonal challenges affecting your fertility, I also offer support in women's hormonal health. In the fertility and preconception stage, we will work on optimizing your reproductive health from months before trying to conceive. We will focus on balancing your reproductive hormones, improving your egg quality, preparing your uterus for implantation, and creating optimal conditions in your body for conception. We will address key nutrients such as folic acid, iron, iodine, omega-3s, and antioxidants that are fundamental for female fertility. We will also work on reducing inflammation, optimizing your gut and liver health, managing stress that can affect ovulation, and improving your insulin sensitivity if necessary. During pregnancy, I will guide you through each trimester to ensure that both you and your baby receive all the essential nutrients for healthy development. We will focus on preventing and managing morning sickness, maintaining stable energy levels, preventing common nutritional deficiencies, controlling weight gain healthily, and preparing your body for childbirth. We will work with anti-inflammatory nutrition that reduces the risk of complications such as gestational diabetes or preeclampsia, and I will help you navigate cravings, aversions, and digestive changes that are normal during pregnancy. In the lactation stage, I will support you to establish and maintain optimal breast milk production, nourish yourself adequately while breastfeeding (which requires additional energy and nutrients), recover from childbirth healthily, and manage common challenges such as mastitis or low milk supply. We will also address how to care for your mental and emotional health during postpartum, a vulnerable stage where nutrition plays a crucial role in preventing postpartum depression. The goal is for you to feel strong, with abundant energy, and deeply in harmony with your body during these unique and transformative stages. You will learn to nourish yourself flexibly, pleasurably, and consciously, without falling into unnecessary restrictions or contradictory information that generates anxiety. I want you to enjoy this stage of your life, trust in your body's wisdom, and for both you and your baby to thrive with health and well-being.
